Treatment overview
Inlays and onlays are laboratory made restorations in porcelain or gold. An inlay is the text book option when a cavity runs over several surfaces, as the fit, strength and lifespan is much better than white fillings. Onlays function like crowns but require less tooth removal.
Our method
At the first appointment any decay is removed and an impression is taken. At the following visit my laboratory technician will have made a customised inlay or onlay to bond onto the tooth, with very high strength and long lifespan.
