Treatment overview
Teeth in an Hour is an advanced procedure which uses a CT scan to map out the exact placement of the implants before surgery. Because of this pre-planning, surgery time is reduced to just one hour and in addition there is less pain, bruising and swelling. As soon as the implants have been placed, the crowns are secured into position, making a temporary denture unnecessary. This ensure the patients leave with a smile they can be proud of and function with fixed teeth.
Our method
The first stage for a patient undergoing Teeth in an Hour in London is a full examination and assessment of oral health. consultation with Dr. Sam Sherif during which time CT scans, photos, X-rays and impressions will be taken to create a treatment plan tailored to your specific needs. CT surgical planning software is then used to pinpoint the exact positions for the dental implants. Your full prosthesis is also crafted before your surgery.
The second step is surgery to place the dental implants into the jawbone and fit you with a temporary prosthesis. Anaesthetic is used to numb the area and minimise pain.
The final stage is all about the healing process. This will involve regular check-ups and maintenance at the clinic to ensure a proper fit and to check for healthy healing. After a period of 3 to 6 months, a new impression is taken and your permanent set of teeth will be crafted. This prosthesis is then attached to the dental implants.
